Junior School

We are currently involved with two Primary Schools being Hwange Main Camp Primary and Mambanje Primary. These two schools are in remote areas of Zimbabwe on the outskirts of the Hwnage National Park.

At Hwange Main Camp Primary, we support 40 orphans and vulnerable children, 12 boys and 28 girls from Grade 1 – 7. we fundraise for their school fees, currently US$20 per term, or US$60 per year per child.

Mambanje Primary has 79 children on the sponsorship program. There are 36 boys and 43 girls who are either orphans or they come from a vulnerable background. Their school fees are currently US$18 per term, or US$54 per child per year, and these are fundraised for.

The families of these children are unable to pay for the school fee’s because of the level of poverty that they live in and as children who have not paid their fee’s are not allowed to attend school, we make sure that they do not drop out. The neediest of these children receive a sponsorship of uniforms and food for groceries.

Senior School

The Foundation currently supports 29 High School Students with Scholarships. Each year, the orphan and vulnerable students we support from the above two Junior Schools compete for a full Scholarship to the best boarding school they can gain entrance to in Zimbabwe.

Due to the challenges that the families caring for the orphan’s face, many of these students would have dropped out of school by now without this assistance. The students embark on a stringent scholarship with conditions in place to stay in the program. We also aim to provide them with guidance and support in all areas of their lives which influence their physical and mental well being and therefore performance at school.

In 2016 we have 14 young gentlemen and 15 ladies on this program. The students receive support with their School fees, Stationery, Transport costs and the neediest also receive a Grocery allocation to help the family who are supporting the child.
