Projects Coordinator Zimbabwe

Mhlalisi joined the African Bush Camps Foundation team in 2015 and is currently the Country Projects Coordinator for Zimbabwe. His duties include coordinating program and project planning and implementation, identifying and recommending projects in line with our goals, assessing needs, setting goals and objectives.

He was born and grew up in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe where he completed his primary and high school education. He later on moved to the United States in 2008 where he studied and worked before returning to settle back home in 2014. He was formerly the Coordinator of the Global Philanthropists Circle program at the Synergos Institute, a global non-profit organisation based in New York that helps solve the complex problems of poverty and inequality by promoting and supporting collaborations among business, government, civil society, and marginalized communities. Previously, he worked with the Organisation of Rural Associations for Progress (ORAP) in Zimbabwe where he coordinated educational programs supporting rural schools in addition to coordinating youth micro enterprise development projects. Mhlalisi studied African Studies, Sociology & Political Science at Manhattanville College in New York.

He is passionate about community development, enjoys watching soccer and is a keen runner.
