Trust Manager

Obert has been part of the African Bush Camps Foundation team, as the Trust Manager, since March 2016. He joined at a critical and defining moment and has been tasked with setting up its core systems focusing on the Finance and Administration, Human Resources Management Organizational Development, Partnership Development and Fundraising and reports directly to our Board of Trustees. He is a man of much experience, having worked 15 years of international development, – working for agencies that include Progression UK, Restless Development UK. Nationally he has worked for the National AIDS Council, Zimbabwe AIDS Network and has been an Associate Consultant with Deloitte and Touché. He shares his knowledge with future leaders by lecturing part-time at a local university taking Community Development, Sociology, Gender and Migration, Gender and Development and Project Planning and Management courses.

Obert is a development specialist with significant experience in high-level meetings, advocacy, policy, programme and project design, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation at national and regional level. He has vast experience and strong technical skills in capacity development, organisational development, systems strengthening, governance, grand implementation and management. Obert holds a Master of Science in Development Studies (Msc Dev Studies), an Honours Degree in Sociology (Hons Sociology), a Diploma in Education and a Certificate in Systemic Counselling.
