African Bush Camps supports a trip for children to compete in National Special Olympics

The Kachikau Primary School is one we partner with in the Chobe Enclave in Botswana. One of the recent projects we worked on was to assist with the paving of the disability unit at the school, to make it more accessible for the students. Recently, children from the unit travelled to represent the Chobe Region at the National Special Olympics Botswana the Serowe College of Education in Maun from 16 – 21st September 2018. A truly exciting, encouraging and empowering experience for all!
The African Bush Camps Botswana team contributed packages of refreshments, snacks & fruits to the Kachikau Special Education Unit pupils for this sports trip to Maun!
ABC gave the team a gift of refreshments comprising of snacks (chips and peanuts & raisins), fruits (oranges), drinks & water
Mr. Jeroen Nys – a.k.a Mr. J (ABC Botswana General Manager) was introduced to the Chobe Region Education Admistrator Ms. Osaleteng Nkgorisang

The team comprised of 12 pupils accompanied by their Head of Department (Mr. Ditiro Kebahudile), class teacher (Ms. Kaone Haskins), teacher aid (Ms. Oratile Kaziyo) and caretakers (Mr. Timothy Kamwi & Ms. Catherine Sankwansa)
