Remote villages often rely on subsistence farming, located in drought prone areas and children often only eat one meal per day while walking up to 4km to school each day. A feeding program dramatically increases attendance and improves concentration and performance at school. School gardens supplement the feed program with fresh produce, grown using permaculture methods.
