Many hands begin to lighten the workload with the first major infrastructure project underway as part of our partnership with the Maunga community in Zambia

The is so much joy in the community of Maunga as people begin to see African Bush Camps Foundation earmark the fulfilment of our pledge to partner with them in completing the construction of facilities to serve as a health centre in the village.

Blocks procured by ABCF were offloaded in preparation for the works to begin, with visiting African Bush Camps guests delighted to witness this during their stay at Thorntree River Lodge. They were so enthused by the story and vision we’re partnering with the Maunga Community with that they decided to further support and donate towards the completion of the health centre.

The Maunga Community is a remote village, a distance from the hub of Livingstone in Zambia. Accessing healthcare facilities is a particular challenge for them, the construction of this Health Centre will greatly improve access to basic facilities and empower the community to care for its members.
